Inbound Links
So how does one go about getting these links? There are a few ways. First off, you should be writing good content for your site that people find interesting and valuable so that they will link to you. That is the best way.
Next is by suggesting a link swap with some similiar businesses. But not too similiar! For example, I obviously make a lot of Lawyer websites. One field I target when requesting links for my client’s sites is Chiropracty. I think it is relevant enough to be a benefit to my users, as well as theirs, but far enough away so that we wouldn’t compete in any way.
Other good ones for lawyers include dentists, vetrinarians, accountants, and other lawyers specializing in different practice areas.

Almost forgot…When asking for links from someone, make sure to send them the html so you are specifying what a good link name is.
